Carbon steel introduction

Carbon steel is an alloy steel used in the manufacture of structural parts, machine parts and tools. It is mainly composed of iron and carbon, of which the carbon content is usually not more than 2.11%, while other components such as sulfur, phosphorus and oxygen have an impact on its performance. Carbon steel can usually be heat treated by heating and cooling to improve its hardness and strength. Carbon steel is widely used in various industries, such as construction, automotive, medical and aviation, because of its excellent material properties, easy processing and high reliability.
